Rik Mol (1985)

Rik Mol took private lessons from the likes of Maurice Andre, Theo Mertens and the renowned Wynton Marsalis.

While still a student, Mol joined many of his teachers at the Royal Conservatory in groups such as the Metropole Orchestra, Cubop City Big Band and Nueva Manteca. Within a few years he was appearing with different groups around the world and initiating projects of his own.

As early as 2004, Mol was winning competitions – just a few of which include; The European Trumpet Contest, the coveted Prinses Christina ConcoursYamaha soloist award (Germany) as well as the Prins Bernhardfonds Culture Award
